May 31, 2008 Videos from Korea
So, I've been totally lazy and busy and I haven't finished making the website for my trip to Korea. But I did find that I could upload my videos onto Photobucket without a problem (stupid YouTube didn't work!). So, here's a little something to tide you over until I finish the website.

This video was taken on May 4, 2008 during the Seoul Lotus Lantern Parade:

May 29, 2008 positive press
How Green Is the College? Time the Showers <-- Interesting Times piece about a green dorm at Oberlin College. The most interesting part, though, was the quote from the advisor/professor, Dr. David Orr:
This is a generation that is watching the world come undone.
So true.

May 21, 2008 sometimes I waste time by reading "the best of craigslist"
and I come across awesomeness like this - Top 10 Law Firm Interview Questions:

7. Tell us about your style of leadership.

What I said: I lead by taking the initiative and working proactively with my peers to come up with solutions.

What I thought: I lead by playing "The Eye of the Tiger" on a boombox while pounding my fist on the table and shouting insults. (It works, I've done it)
Also awesome:
Does Your Human Need a Date, Too?:

So, do you have a shy male human that you want to get out of the house more often? He should be smart. Andrea's smart. She knows how to fetch and she never pees on the floor. Your human should also be nice. The last guy Andrea brought home with her was a total loser. He was kind of mean to her and he told her that she had to get rid of me. That's when she kicked him to the curb. Damn straight. So, your human has to be nice to Andrea, because if he isn't, I'll bite him.

Welcome to San Francisco, Hordes of Tourists!:

5. RULE: If your whole family is wearing matching "Alcatraz Swim Team" sweatshirts, people are in fact laughing at you. It's not a coincidence.

And of course, the one that started my journey to the Best of craigslist, Dear San Francisco Gymnasium Nude Guy

Enjoy!

May 16, 2008 summer hiatus sucks
Hee! I just noticed that like all of my gReader shared items are about The Office or its cast. That was not my intention at all, but well, they are just too damn funny!

Finale was last night and it CRACKED ME UP! Though I have to agree with TWOP on this one:

Seriously what the fuck am I gonna do with myself on Thursdays now that The Office and 30 Rock are on hiatus? Do I need to start trying to have a life or something? Ew.
Well, I'm thinking about getting something approaching a life. We'll see how that works out. I may have interesting plans for next weekend even though I waited until the last minute to make them. Fingers crossed!

May 15, 2008 proud day!
Not since February 13, 2004 have I been so proud of a piece of the California government: State Supreme Court says same-sex couples have right to marry:

In a 4-3 decision, the justices said the state's ban on same-sex marriage violates the "fundamental constitutional right to form a family relationship."
It's a good day to be a Californian. I only hope the voters will uphold the decision in November. And I hope that as goes California, so goes the nation.

May 7, 2008 For next time...

I didn't have a change to hang out with this guys when I was in Korea, but it's definitely a goal for next time ;)

I'm still on Korea time, which may make going back to work tomorrow hard, but oh well. I had an AMAZING time and I can't wait to share all my stories and photos with you.
