Although she made some good points, I have a few for moms like her: 1. Our homes may not be childproof, so please watch your children or bring a sitter when you visit us. 2. Our home is not an amusement park, and our furniture is not a playground for your children to jump or climb on. Our antiques and collectibles are not toys. 3. Do not compare your children to our pets. Our pets always listen to us and do not appreciate being poked by your children. 4. Your children should not play with our entertainment systems or computers without our permission and supervision. 5. You are responsible for your children's behavior. Please teach them what is appropriate and what is not. Better still, leave them at home. We want to visit with you, not your kids. July 2, 2002 Well, I haven't really blogged anything of interest in such a long time, I thought I would start with a rant about how much my internship sucks. I thought that working at a small company would give me more access to "important people" and more opportunities to actually experience the process. WRONG!! So far, I have answered the phones, made a take-out menu book, organized a supply list after taking inventory of both kitchens and made out Fed-Ex labels...oh and I've made some phone calls to agencies for them to fax me something for our records...which is the most production related thing I've done yet! It pisses me off that I am wasting my time here all summer, not getting paid and I'm not learning or getting to do anything of future interest! Jenn posted at 11:38 PM |
