September 13, 2001 From Sophie: The opinions in the Sydney Morning Herald letters page today run to both extremes - from "They deserve it" (they didn't) to "Let's blow up the entire middle east" (we shouldn't). In spite of the crackpot ideas and knee-jerk reactions of these people there were many letters from Sydneysiders expressing grief, compassion and outrage for humanity.
